SC Slave

Not too bad this time around, you learnt a lot from last year i take it  ;)

In my opinion (and its just that):

Out Kerr. No durability at all, will break down at some point and will be tagged heavily. For that coin look at Armitage (StK) or Ball (COLL.

You must be a Carlton man, only we would pick O'hAilpin. Lose the Irishman, and swap Higgins from your Mid to you Forward line. Fill this new gap in your Mids with someone like Masten (WCE).

Fairly sure Charman got injured in the practice with the Blues, either way $160k is too much money sitting on the bench, not playing. Downgrade to a rookie of your choice and pocket the change.

Hope this helps man, you still have a week of tweeking  ;D

placidlake

team looks alright,

defence looks a bit weak with the likes of malceski, hunt, schoenmakers starting. can definitely upgrade with the extra 160k u have left.
try to free up some money in the midfield, moving higgins to forwardline is a good move(SC Slave) and kerr has lost his touch and is heavily tagged out of the game (SC Slave again lol). there are also heaps more gun rookie midfielders  to choose from other than the 3 you have. the extra money can strengthen your defence.
i cant really disapprove your ruck because if you look at mine, it is very weak lol (its a tactic of course lol ) ummm maybe swap tippett for a better ruckman cos he is already 400grand+ might as well spend a little extra to get a gun like jolly, sands etc. but its entirely up to you.
get rid of o'hailpin, he's no good. not a good player and more importantly not a good SC scorer. u can easily trade him for a better SC scorer but not necessaily a gun player like ziebell for example.

anyways, hope this helps. feel free to to critique my team too cos i know there is still lots of room for improvement.

Agree with all the above comments & also think that Hall is a loose cannon & could go of (Like Kerr) so he is a worry & also Shoenmakers is one that i would also move out.

IMHO.

You know that Franklin is out for RD 1 also, so you need cover for him.

Backline needs work, Hitchcock will cover  buddy round 1

Apparently there is an injury cloud over Selwood for round 1
