No scans for Dangerfield

ADELAIDE has cleared star midfielder Patrick Dangerfield of any structural damage to his knee, saying he doesn't require scans.

Dangerfield suffered a knock to his knee late in Sunday's 16-point win over Collingwood.

The club said the acting co-captain was sore but he was expected to play against West Coast at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

The 24-year-old will be managed throughout the week.

"There's nothing like getting hurt in the last few minutes of a game," Dangerfield told afc.com.au.

"It'll be a bit sore and swollen, but we have fantastic medical staff and I'm sure I'll be sweet to go next weekend."

Great news for Adelaide and most fantasy sides. Not good for eagles... But as an eagles supporter id rather see my DT do good than eagles at the moment. Especially with the sh1t we are dishing up.

ahaha mate, thats what im looking forward to... But problem is, have you seen what we have drafted over the past 6-7 years. The recruiting staff at Eagles is a joke. Masten with pick 3, Sheppard at pick 7... Now Gaff pick 3 after his one year wonder performance has been worked out by all opposition teams. I just hope we have had a change of recruitment staff over the last season or 2.. Cos they suck haha!!!
