McVeigh,Swallow,Simpson,Bartel,WALKER,Hurn  (Bews,Jones)

GAJ,Pendles,Beams,Selwood,Kennedy,Fyfe,Priddis,Barlow  (Shenton,Hartung)

Sandilands,Mumford  (King,DERICKX)

Danger,Martin,Pavlich,Buddy,Zorko,S,Martin  (Cameron,Kersten)

Only 5 trades but 450 K in bank. Walker is now out so that's 1 trade. Still have GAJ - was tossing up Libba/Rocky/Goddard/Sloane and 2 of those didn't play. Any reason NOT to get Rocky?

Also need Boomer/Gray for Derickx (moving Martin to R3) but that may have to wait. Shenton may also need to go if dropped.

Really need 6-7 trades to be safe for finals but I don't - so any input appreciated.  Cheers :)

Walker to Mitchell (low BE this week)
GAJ to Rocky

Next week Derickx to Boomer
Leaves you 2 trades for cover.

Cheers mate. Tossing up Mitch,Eski and Hibberd - Crowley,Macaffer,Dees and Dogs could tag Mitch in run home - he struggles with that and injury... Hawks also tag Eski...

Agree 100%. But be vary of split round. Blues play this week & Hawks play the week after.

Very hard to argue with these suggestions.

Maybe consider grabbing Lobb for Derickx - money / DPP / allows S Martin to stay or float.

Mitchell in for Walker.

NEXT week GAJ out - what a POD having him though!

cheers guys.

Could be a good idea - but would burn extra trade as Martin will have to move from F6>R3 when Leuy is back - meaning I would have to grab Gray/Boomer anyway or have Lobb as F6!

Rocky seems like obvious choice - highest averaging player I don't have. But SMitch with Crowley + Macaffer in SC finals plus hammie issues worries me.

Why not trade Derrickx to Thulow.  Allows you to switch Martin to Ruck if required and does not cost a trade. I personally doubt that we will see berger this year - suffered Achilles soreness in reserves last week and was pulled off so why risk him for no gain when Martin is doing so well. Martin is also scoring well as a forawrd averaging 105 since he came into team. Am actually looping him and Wingard atm.
Ben Brown also an option but he is $80k dearer,
Mitchell for Walker
and if Cameron or Kersten named would be tempted to switch one of Danger, Martin or Zorko to mids via Shenton, Think Kersten or Cameron will outscore Shenton.
Next week GAJ to Rocky.
Leaves you 2 trades but you have Ruck cover via DPP (Lobb is listed as Ruck only so he does not have DPP)
Mitchell is a virtual must this week if you want him as he will be at his cheapest,

Cheers Ringo - Sandilands out will change my plans. But how does Derickx>Thurlow not cost a trade??

Not sure I follow about switching Shenton with Zorko - as I would have to play Shenton on field in fwds? Until I got Bommer or Gray for Cameron that is.

Which brings me to my next question  - will Carlton be able to shut Boomer down?

ubeaut

So I don't know if Zak Jones will play until next week - which means I don't know if i have cover for Walkers donut or not.

Shenton is out so no cover for GAJ. Sandilands out and would have to trade to cover with S.Martin. Which 2 out of the 3 donuts do I save??

Ringo

No need to burn that extra trade by moving Martin to R3 around if you set up DPP.

So this week Derek to Thurlow or Brown - Use the DPP to move Martin to Ruck with Sandi to bench.
Walker to Mitchell
Kersten on Field for Stef Martin
One of 3 DPP forwards to mids to cover GAJ via Shenton
Cameron on Field for Shenton.

If Cameron does not play may have to wear a donut.

But I'm burning a trade anyway by getting thurlow - except if I trade in Boomer/Gray i get Boomer /Gray - whereas if i get Thurlow I only get Thurlow! Plus if Cameron misses I get 2 donuts - as I have Walker and GAJ to deal with as well.

Thinking maybe Derickx > Boomer/Gray and gAJ > Rocky - leaves mwe with enough cash to go Walker > Hibberd/SMitch and Shenton > Gray/Boomer in coming weeks.

Only leaves 1 trade for finals but cover everywhere except backs (Jones/Bews)

Gray or Boomer this round?

Sounds good.
Boomer, he's in form and has an easy run home.

Love Ringo's suggestion with the exception that I don't think Sammy Mitchell will score very well until AFL finals, not ours. Personally like Hibberd or Melceski with a slight inexplicable leaning toward Hibberd. Cheers and best of luck mate.   :)
