newby finals query ...

9 trades left ($232K) .. plan to bring in mitchell this week

Option 1 : Suckling  > Mitchell (no def/mid coverage)
Option 2 : McDonald  > Mitchell (no def/mid coverage)
Option 3 : Shenton  >  Mitchell ( def/mid coverage!)

With 8 trades then left for finals is it a better idea to have the best possiible team and trade sideways or try and have better coverage between lines on on bench?

Option 2 or 3 looks good with 8 trades left you will be able to cover any injuries or rested players pretty well or upgrade to better players in the finals well done with your team and the trades you have left  ;)

Personally with that many trades I'd go McDonald to Mitchell and Miles to Ward for the best team. You'd still have plenty for straight swaps if needed. Shenton should remain good cover and you can loophole Suckling

First finals series  currently 1st in 3 leagues,  7 and 8 in other two.

Martin is ruck coverage,  H Taylor has turned into good back coverage.
Stuck with Acres and Shenton.
Problem is fwd coverage:    At this stage should i bring in a fwd rookie that is playing or just wait until finals and use trades as required.   

Tempted to bring in Honeychuch for DPP whilst I can still afford him but it costs me 1/3 of my trades left?
