With $46,200 remaining salary and the following defenders and mids what ya reckon??

Def  -  McVeigh, D. Swallow, P. Hanley, Simpson, Suckling, Birchall     - Emerg - Simpkin, Bews

Mid  -  Ablett, Barlow, Beams, Swan, J. Selwood, Stanton, Cotchin, N. Jones     - Emerg - N. Jetta, Honeychurch.

Trading both these blokes leaves me with a total of $1,042,268 to spend.

My thoughts at the moment are to go Birchall to Bartel and then Ablett to S. Johnson.

What else do you see as a solid trade?? Dal Santo would leave me more room to move in the mids but Bartel needs to come in at some stage.

Cheers.

not sure on prices, but I'd throw out Smitch as an option too, if you're not sold on SJ

Doing that would leave me with $582,280. That means I could use the cash to go Pendles/Priddis/JPK/Libba.

They are all solid. This isn't an easy call with so many options!

Yea, perfect.

Still allows you go to go Suckling to SMitchell or N.Jones/Cotchin/Stanton to Rockliff in the coming weeks.

avoid stevie j, nice score but it included 14 tackles, wont do that again and i would suggest a late withdrawal is a possibility with him and jelwood as both are clearly playing under duress.

Jelwood certainly still carrying something, thinking SJ is over his back issues as 14 tackles clearly says to me he's over it. Cats can't afford to rest players that can play through it in their position . Good to see Scott come out and say it but tbh i'll still take that with a pinch of salt.

I disagree with this, SJ had a ripper of a game and with that come nice stats, 14 tackles just showed his work rate and if its dry the tackle probably go down but the possies would go up and even if you wanted to be realistic and say SJ only had 8 or 7 tackles, he would still have cracked the ton anyway and should go big again this week
