Mr.Craig

Cyril out a massive blow. Box Hill had the bye so nothing to go on there. Simpkin or Hallahan could be possible replacements but you never know, Woodward might get a guernsey.

Need to keep the pressure up.

Will be out of Ross, Langford, Hallahan and Woodward for the Cyril replacement. Whoever it is will probably be short lived though as Mitchell is lurking, currently listed as 1-2 weeks ;D

McEvoy should finally get a run really, I think Hale has to come out for a rest or to find form in the VFL.

Think the injury list had him at 1-2 weeks last week so it's possible. Unlikely, but possible.

This just came up

HAWTHORN star Sam Mitchell could make his long-awaited return in Friday night's clash with North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.

The gun midfielder has missed two months with a hamstring tendon injury but has been training fully with his teammates for the last three weeks.

He trained strongly on Tuesday and will train again on Thursday in a bid to reclaim his place in the senior side, bypassing a return via VFL affiliate Box Hill.

"He's done well again this week with his training, we just need to see how he goes on Thursday and then it's up to the selectors whether we decide he'll be in the team or not," General Manager - Football Operations, Chris Fagan told hawthornfc.com.au

Just loved hearing hawthorn would be stuffed after Friday night's loss.

If WCE beat Sydney, we'll still be on top.

Lake gone for a few I reckon.

Cheney will be laughing.

Tough run ahead but top 2 still a fair chance.

Need to win minimum 2 and hopefully 3 of these matches - R18 home v Swans / R21 away v Freo / R22 MCG v Cats (huge one) / R23 MCG v Pies.
