Is he set for a breakout year? Is it worthwhile picking him up. Unsure myself. Interested in people's thought's.

I was keen on Pearce and had him earmarked early. But nobody seems to have mentioned him until now. So is these something we are missing?

Is it because of Ports other numbers in the mid-field that nobody rates him? Is this his 4th year? At $433,000 he is not cheap, but could be worth $500,000-$550,000 by the end of the year I reckon

Yeah Clint-84, this is the DT forum. BTW his diminutive price of 326,200 is quite the appealing factor. He's looked impressive in the pre-season, it's just whether that form continues into the season proper.

pearce could be a unique gun pickup, he wont get a tag with the likes of boak, cornes, k cornes, salopek, cassisi in the team but that could also mean he wont get as many points with all them gun players playing.

But will he stay injury free ? He is a big risk in that respect.

I think Pearce would be a worthy pick up for his price although he has been inconsistent in years gone being dropped for a few games here and there and with the likes of the strong port midfield improving this year again could be a bit of a form risk.
