Thinking of trading Travis Cloke into my team, sounds stupid I know... but with the bulldogs this week he could have a day out then he has hawthorn and then not a bad looking run home and with a BE of -5 this week I'm seriously considering upgrading Zac Merrett to Cloke, Zorko's only a few grand more to upgrade and has a BE of 4 this week, is Zorko the safe option or does anyone think I should take the punt on Cloke?  :o

Would go Zorko - Cloke will have a few big games but he will also put in enough 30's to make you want to delete your team

I'm likely gonna grab Zorko this week. Wouldn't even consider Cloke.

Stay away from key position players mate, the game has changed and the only players to benefit with the way the game is played these days is midfielders who play fwd, guys who can apply pressure on the back men, guys who tackle, guys who gut run up and down the ground.
Buddy for example is a big little man if that makes sense, plays like a midfielder as well a key position fwd.
Guys like Cloke, Petrie, J Riewoldt, T Walker have never stepped foot in the defensive half.
Only way I would consider Cloke is if I had many trades and I wanted to loophole each week for his monster scores, otherwise to have him on ground, like someone said above, you might take up playing chess online instead of spending hours on supercoach.

I brought him in last week purely to make cash. He has made 30g for me already and with a negative breakeven he will make more the next couple of weeks. There are no rookies around!! There has to be other ways to make money and this is thinking outside the square, it could be a huge win or a crash and burn but if you don't take a risk you wont get anywhere. I would not keep him though. I am planning to trade him as soon as he has a large breakeven
