Honestly didn't think he was eligible... he's had a pretty good season, but the only way I see him winning it is if he monsters it from here out.

it's a bit of a token nomination I reckon. he's a number 1 draft pick that never really had a stand out game (from memory anyway) and was running out of time to at least get a nomination, so they just gave him one to say he got one.

well done to him anyway though, will be a star in the future

Stringer didn't really do much when the game was on the line in the 4th though, which may have worked against him.

Possibly, but looking at the DT scores (don't know how to find stats just for a quarter) Patton only got 9, so not like he did anything when the game was on the line either against the Cats. Felt Stringer was also unlucky in round 15 when he picked up 13 touches and kicked 4 goals, but they gave it to Cunningham who had 17 touches, no tackles and no goals. Maybe they just don't like him...
