some interesting stats for the future:

the best "captain choices" are:
the best mids vs Brisbane, Demons, GoldCoast, Hawthorn, Port, WestCoast, Sydney (average over 125)
the worst mids are vs Geelong, Collingwood, Carlton and Adelaide (all under 115)

note: Brisbane are giving up just under 140 (on average) to the leading mid, so get on that for a POD

Nice! Want to do this every week?

if you're happy to do the main choices, then I can do the requests this week if you're busy

personally though (despite horrific history for their big 3), liking a Port player this week

The next three weeks are going to be hectic for me with my FYP so that would be amazing. I've started this week's writeup (think it'll go up late though because I have bball soon) but then I really gotta get back to uni.

You're a legend, mate!

Any hot tips of guys I should be looking at this week that I may have missed?

just looking at scores the opponents are giving up,

both Port and Hawthorn give up reasonable scores
so Cornes/Boak/Ebert, but then I'm not too sure on that HawksMid (Hodge?)

also a smokie in Jelwood, given that he should top-score for Geelong with SJ out of the way (vs North who are giving up at least 1-teens to the top mid)

and of course, ol' reliable in Gaj - but he's facing a miserly WB side (only LeCras and Murphy have broken 125 vs them this season)

WestCoast (of the teams playing this week) have given up the most tons this season, but only 3 worth captaining (NJones, SJ and Murphy) - but which of Beams/Pendles/Sidey/Swan will top score?

and forwards vs GWS do well too (okay, JJK helps that a LOT) - but it's a MASSIVE smokie with Richmond's forwards (hmm, Dusty?)

Nice thoughts man. Had a look at the numbers and GAJ is definitely the top option. All the boys look good against the Eagles and nobody in Richmond is worth looking at right now. Such an awful team (that I happen to support). I'll leave the requests up to you :)
