I think if you were to put all the trade questions into one thread, you would probably need a couple of stickied threads for it. One thread for ALL trade questions would be too much. If, for example, 20 people have a trade question basically at once, there is an extremely good chance that at least half of them will go unanswered. During the week it would be fine, but those 30 minute periods right before a match starts? It wouldn't work well. So maybe if we had perhaps 2 threads for rookie trades, another for trades due to injury/injuries, another for fallen premiums as you suggested, then maybe that could work.

Then there's also the fact that a lot of people create polls, which wouldn't work if everything was together. While it's better to get actual feedback via comments from people, there are a lot of people who just vote as feedback without commenting, or (using myself as an example) just don't have the time at that specific moment to leave some good feedback as I'm very busy with other stuff.

I really like the idea of it, but just not sure if it would work that well, especially at the start of the season where there are a lot of people trying to fix their team early with rookies and all that.

Good discussion here - and I agree with a lot of what has been said.

The real issue I have is the number of Player X threads we have - could be who to trade for Player X - How long is player X out for etc you get the gist.  Would help the Thread if starting it was called Player X and then all related info to player X would be posted in the one thread . Not always easy as it may be a couple of pages away.

The only exception to this rule should be if up are undecided and need a Poll and that would be in order.

If a further layer can be added to the forum it would work fine, i.e Fallen Premos there will only be maybe 10 at a time same goes for rookies

so the forum would show a new post in supercoach > players and trades > fallen premos > Swan

May or may not help but there are always recurring players in any season so a single thread should cover it

When posting new topics can you please look and see if there are existing threads on the topic.

I have merged quite a few threads because thet are on the same topic and in moist cases are only one or two threads apart.

I see what you mean Ringo...
on the Players and trades in sc board at the moment there are at least 3 new threads looking at trading the bubbling rookies this week:

They are under different titles, so that if you were scanning the board without reading the thread you would miss the content... still annoying for those using the board frequently- feels somewhat like a broken record.
