Is this silly?

Is it silly of me to keep Ellis on bench, knowing that he is missing and not moving in price... and downgrade Tyson/Dunstan instead with their high BE?

He hasnt been ruled out yet. Subject to a fitness test apparently

Yeah he's still every chance to play, just needs to get through his fitness test

Well if he does play, do I trade out:
- Dunstan
- Ellis
- Tyson
???

If he is named you would have to cull him though due to the massive B/e 100+ but as you say if he does not then does not lose cash.  Hard one.

I'm in the same position, however Ellis for me is staying..

Ellis B/E          99
Dunstan B/E   85
Tyson B/E      96

Although a crystal ball would be nice... If say Ellis averages 75 until their bye, if he plays this week he'll gain 30k come bye round and if he doesn't he'll lose 15k.

I'll take the extra 40-45k now and cash in Dunstan and Tyson.

To choose 1 it would be Tyson to go. Dunstan plays Brisbane and Tyson plays Sydney this week.

Only main issue I see is all the players are on round 8 byes.. So you would need to bring in Robertson, cutler, etc

Langdon and McDonald need to be moved on next week

I would trade Ellis if not playing. I think it's too risky having a non-playing player this close to the byes.

If however, you're sure u will trade him next week, then trading Dunstan or Tyson is fine.
