I'll admit it.. I doubted him when I saw him in preseason and also in Round 1. But that game he played was as good as you'll see from a second gamer

just looked a little unsure of himself in the first game (only played one quarter of footy though)

that game against Essendon will do absolute wonders for his confidence. he knows what he has to do, and he knows he can do it. seriously love this kid, he's my new favourite player. and that's after just watching 5 quarters. serious gun.
He was always going to be a gun.

Getting him and Luke Dunstan was awesome for you guys. Serious long-term gems.  8)

With Steven, Armitage and now Billings, Saints are becoming my 2nd fav team.

3 weeks ago he only had 2 possies in a half playing in the VFL.. Then kicks 5 in the second half and starts running rampage the next week playing off a wing.

One wonders what went on in that half time talk..

the VFL was boring for him. he didn't feel challenged so he didn't really try that hard. comes out and kicks 1 in the third, then in the last quarter when Sandy went behind he knew it was time, so he decided to kick 4 more goals and win the game. didn't get put into the seniors the week after, which is fair enough, so he decided to smash out around 30 possies the next week to make sure of getting himself a game.

stolen from Saints board on BF. how many times do ya see a nomination for goal of the year with their first ever goal?

that'll only be a problem after he wins his third brownlow. "This is too easy!"
