Buckleys hope of getting Crouch!

So made the rash decision of jumping on Buckley a week before Crouch was ripe for the picking
With a breakeven of 20 and scores in his past 3 weeks of 86, 34, 40 I don't have much confidence in him making anywhere near as much cash (thought he would've pull out another 80 game against the Dees)  :-[
Is predicted to rise 11k, 13k and 11k over the next 3 weeks as opposed to the 55k and 35k Crouch is.

So what to do?

If I trade him to Crouch I'll miss out on Gray the next week as I don't think I should downgrade anyone else in my mids, maybe Tyson if he really spuds up again

M: Ablett, Pendles, JPK, Beams, M.Thomas, Tyson, Polec, Ellis, Dunstan, Buckley

Alternatively I could wait a week and trade him to Gray the week after

It feels like a waste of a trade but I can't stand having him sitting there when better options open up

Complete waste of a trade.

Hold him until round 9. He's a rookie, so his scores are always going to fluctuate. You know that if you decide to trade him out he'll pull out a 100 that week.

Agree, hold Buckley. He should finish on 250k by round 9, based on a 60 avg.

But is that really good enough profit when Crouch could be $100k more than that, I don't mind using a correctional trade to fix something like this

If you plan on keeping Crouch then maybe, but if he's to be culled over the bye period then no. A trade isn't worth 100k.

I would expect to keep crouch until he is ready to moo.. Whether that be at $300k or $400k

Then I don't see a problem in making the trade, Crouch should go close to 400k and should do it reasonably quickly. I too have Buckley but selected him on the grounds that he'll be a slow burning benchwarmer who will cover my round 8. Given he's a back pocket that may entail a small profit of around 130k but I'm happy to hold. I also have Crouch by the way.

It should work out in holding him with my current bye structure so long as I trade out Matt Thomas before Round 8 which I plan to do
