Hi Guys,

I'm looking for some advice, like most people my forwards are in urgent need of attention.

I'm looking to bring in a Jackson Merrett/Luke Breust type before I miss the boat

Plan A) I'm leaning towards downgrading McVeigh ---> KK in my defence (Most of my mid cow still have a bit of coin to make)

Plan B) - Hope Kennedy-Harris has a half decent game without the sub and upgrade one to Fasolo next week.

Plan C) - Wait a few weeks until someone like a Honeychurch or Billings is on the bubble

$57,300 available, 28 trades.

Team is as follows:

Backs: D.Swallow, McVeigh, Mitchell, Hanley, Langdon, J.Webster (L.McDonald, Georgiou)
Mids: Ablett, Pendles, Beams, Wines, Liberatore, Dunstan, Tyson, Polec (Ellis, Michie)
Rucks: Sandi, Grundy (Currie, Thurlow)
Fwds: Dusty, Dangerfield, Mitchell, Wright, Higgins, Ambrose (Z.Merrett, Kennedy-Harris)

Many thanks for your feedback.

I'd just trade Merrett to Taylor and play him at F6 for now

Also, Michie needs to go, maybe bring Langdon into the mids and get KK down back

Sounds like you are looking for a reactive trade hence chasing points.
Definately do not trade McVeigh. He is a premo and not worth it. You must give him more of a chance to come good.
I would hold or trade Michie to Taylor.

I wouldnt say a reactive trade, however i think Merrett has a chance to avg 90+ so im contemplating jumping in ahead of the curve.

Having taylor for michie would be good dpp link which could be handy later on.

Even if you think Merrett can avg 90+ you are still trading a Premium to a mid pricer

Sydney are just starting to hit their straps - McVeigh is every chance to be the best scoring defender over the course of the season.

While Merrett will make you some cash he is less likely to be a top 10 forward and therefore a wasted trade

This

Z.Merrett to Taylor means you play McVeigh + Taylor = probably 100 + 65 pts (165) averages over the season
McVeigh to KK and get J Merrett/Breust means you're likely to be getting 65 from KK and 95 from Merrett/Breust (160)

In total that's two trades for a loss...

Fair point brother, although I think your underrating KK.

KK, McDonald and Langdon I can see all averaging 70+ for the year and being good bench cover for at least 1-2 come finals time
