MERRITT? How much of a risk? double trade ?

Really considering a double trade this week

Higgins to Merritt
Rohan to fasolo

With bugger all rookies in the forwards, it seems mid
Prices are the go it seems

Do you think Merrett will continue to score like he has ? if you are forced to put Rohan on the field this week the Fasolo trade is ok but if you don't you can sit back and see how Fasolo goes this week

Not sold on Merrett. Only because you will be using a trade to bring him in now, then one later to upgrade him to a premo and will still need to fine more cash to do so.

Why trade Higgins out?

He has a BE of just 13 and projected to rise by $24,000

Essendon played against a rabble last week and Carlton highest SC scorer was just 89 points.

Essendon now play Freo in Freo and there will no doubt be extra attention payed to merrett especially with the possibility of chapman not playing

Just wondering why you are considering trading Higgins at this stage. He has another achievable B/e and still 50k cheaper.

If these are the only trades you are considering and have no other issues I would sit as it would give you this week to look at Fasola as well.

I'm in the same boat. I have the money to trade McDonough or Rohan to Merrett or Fasolo. Could wait a week on Fasolo, but I'm sick of fielding one of Rohan, McDonough or Impey. Will Merrett keep it up? Then there's Caddy to deal with. Happy with Higgens ATM.

I can understand wanting to trade out Rohan, but trading Higgins is silly

So my bottom 4 are Higgins, rohan, mcdonut and impy
Higgins I'm happy with but I need a solid 6th.

I'm scoring mid 2300s with 30 points at 6 which is killing me

The only reason I considered trading Higgins for a double trade was to generate enough
Cash to get Merritt and fasolo in , silly I know

I can't get ambrose as he ain't playing, not sold on Taylors 40s and 50s.

I'm thinking I'll keep my 27 trades and consider a rohan or mcdonut to fasolo next week

Can't burn trades I guess as we will all need them to upgrade rookies down the track

Also got lamb playing this week and a few others who could be good value
