Kinda disagree Quinn. There are just as much importance and tactics involved in picking the sub as anything else on game day. Roos is there to win games and if that means the JKH is best suited to that role, that's where they will play him.
Yeah, gotta agree with Ric here.

JKH might just be a guy Roos sees as suited to the sub role for the time being. Imo, he is as well. Can really provide some memorable moments and bring a bit of x-factor and life after taking off the vest.

I think JKH has been good so far after coming on as sub. As fantasy coaches, we mightn't like it too much. But I think his JS is still pretty solid, it's really just that he is a good vest candidate.

Have heard a few AFL commentators and coaches over the past couple of years explain that players arent made the sub more than a couple of weeks in a row as it will affect their fitness.

Roos isnt there to win games at this stage, Melbourne are a mile off winning games. He needs to teach people them like you would teach 10 year olds at Auskick because thats where Melbourne are at. THEN find a combination of players and a game plan that is capable of being competitive. The only full game we've seen from JKH was a very exciting match winning performance against Richmond in nab 1. No form can be gained from that but what would make anyone think that there best player from that night should then start as the sub for 3 weeks in a row. Its not like its worked and they havent needed to change things up. They are struggling for goals and any form of excitement yet sit a young kid on the bench who in his only full game tore the game apart.. Sounds stupid to me.
From a SC point of view I knew he would be a vest candidate and I was fine with that but never did I think they would give a kid the vest for the first 3 weeks in a row, thats not right
