Bad luck for Paddy who was pressing for a call up with the injury looking luike being 10 - 12 weeks.

Gives an opporunity to promote a player.  Not sure whether we will take it up or not but my choice would be either Jordan Bourke or can play either end or Zac O'Brien a mature age midfielder who is showing some smart footy skills.

Nick Hayes may also have some claims and Sam Michael is currently on the injured list,

Played fairly well during the NAB and the Lions probably need a player like him more than another mid.

Unfortunately for O'Brien I don't think we need him at the moment. We're struggling for back consistency so i'd consider Bourke.

Bourke and O'Brien were amongst the best in the Reserves loss to Sydney Yesterday. Bourke was playing through the midfield so with his capabilities he would be my choice as well. At 193cm a handy player at either end.
