Thinking of putting Barry Hall in my side as he is cheap and will free up money to spend elsewhere....whats everyones thoughts, is he going to be worth the risk after a stella pre-season?

Barry Hall is worth the risk. If he has a brain explosion or injury, he has enough value to trade, if remains sane and fit, he'll score high and price will rise.

But do you want to take the risk of wasting a trade....??  :-\

it wont be wasting a trade IMO. When Sydney were firing and won a flag hall averaged 100+, history shows he gets reported in seasons where sydney are doing so flash, therefore he prob wont snap cause they'll be winning alot and B if he does his value will prob have risen nicely making it a upgrade trade not a burnt one.

Well, over the year you'll trade 20 players. So it is possible that 20 of your starting 30 players won't be in your round 22 team, so yeah, you risk the trade.

You don't risk the trade; you hope Hall earns you cash and either turns into a premium forward again, or you use the cash he earns to trade up to a premium, either in fwd line or elsewhere.

Personally I think Hall is touch pricey for a flat out cash cow, but he is playing for a great team who will give him the chances to kick 4 or 5 every week.

Blueboys

No risk, he will need to kick 5 goals a game but no reason why he can't do that. I guess you need to ask yourself, is he going to be an upgrade or a perm player in your side  ???
