Pretty decent...
Backline is solid. I don't like Ellis either (loose him).
I do like Kennelly. He's a star...
5 kids in the mid is a huge risk, but if it works ur set!  ;D
Would probly trade Clark for Jolly.
But that's just me.
Forwardline is nice. Ballantyne is injured dunno for how long...

8 / 10

I like ellis he is due for a breakout season and had a full pre season champion data thinks this will be his season number 3 draft pick i would say he is underpriced, i guess you have a decison listen to champion data or mjpaps, i actually think pretty good team, but yeah 3 rookies is rookie mistake, midfield is your main source of points your def, ruck, forward are for taking risks 1-2 rookies are more than enough in your 22. 7/10

yeah nice side mate. im wondering what rookies 2 put in to,,its hard 2 tell. I would put in one of scully and trengrove but not sure which one, trengrove will probably be suited to sc as hes a good kick and scully more in and under, but both will be good. I had moles aswell, but not sure now whether he'll get a game. Ive got 5 rookies aswell,, ppl saying its risky,it might be but its a pretty safe bet. These rookies look pretty good. Ive got scully, trengrove, martin, barlow and shuey, but not sure whether to get rid of one of scully or trengrove for banner??.. its hard to tell

tomsully

good points. yer big choices. i think, maybe get rid of scully cause he will be raped in cotten wool to build him up, eg watts. also i think playing 3 rookies/youngsters in the mid is the same as playing 2. CAUSE the third rookie, if he plays will likely score constint 60-80's odd good game and bad. and thats as good as a 250k or 300k player, and you get the extra cash for the rookies. you need to do something diffrent if you want to have a good team.

yeah spot on mate. ive made a few different moves aswell. this is my team atm:

D: Goddard, Enright, Hodge, S. Thompson (NM), Kennelly (OR) Malceski, Hunt, Waters  (Davis, Maguire)
M: Ablett, Dal, Vince, Trengrove, Martin, Banner (Shuey, M.Barlow)
R: Clark (OR) Jolly, Natanui (Warnock, Skipper)
F: Riewoldt, Pav, Brown, Franklin, Tippett, Hall, Dangerfield (Rockcliff, Podsiadly)

Do you think my fwd's are too crowded or should i downgrade dangerfield 2 say gary rohan and mayb use that money 2 up grade waters to say waite, gram or joel macdonald. I thought having either dangerfield or ziebell would be good cause then i only have 2 worry bout the mids not playing. Also not sure whether 2 have both scully and trengrove in the mid.
Any suggestions?

i think clark in ruck. i did have him. gram in backline. looking good i got him in b4. for ellis. kennelly and malceski in same team? could be done? might pay off? waters, im 50 50 on him. ive had him in and out. just see how he goes. maybe get a bench player who will play, and can always keep waters on bench if you want? ablett, i think he will drop in price, which is why i have swan. i might pounce on ablett when he drops, forwards are ok. gary rohan 50 50 on playing. he will play a bit. but they might put him in gym. vince. i want him. his a star. but i have boyd. underated boyd. and hard ball gets. and if bulldogs are to have a good year. boyd is such the key.

yeah true,,nahh i dont have kennelly and malceski im going 2 choose one or the other. do you think having scully and trengrove in the same team is a bad idea. Should i keep banner and shuey or drop one for jetta?. Not too sure on these yet

tomsully

i'd say get trengove. leave scully out

im not to sure on shuey, jetta, banner. there all big choices

tomsully

also worth looking at banner. very much so

Wild Thing

tomsully,

My only concern with your midfield group is the fact that you have to use at least 8 trades to upgrade them all, as they won't all get to a price where you can make a straight swap for a premium, so you'll have to downgrade elsewhere to upgrade the rookies.  So in effect, you are starting the season with 10 what I like to call "Option" trades.  "Option" trades are all other trades bar upgrades...injuries, form etc.  I think it's very risky leaving yourself that thin.  Bear in mind, your risk vs. reward ratio is through the roof and if you don't cop any injuries or poor form, you'll be laughing, but it's just not a risk I'm willing to take personally.

Good luck with it though, I'd be interested to see if it works come the end of the season.
