Upgarde Suckling to a keeper.

Start a mid priced ruck like Hickey and get NicNait (if he proves mulletworthy) after Hickey makes money and NicNat drops a bit due to vesting.

And Georgiou.

I see it like this

Hickey (valued at 58ppg - scored 2 tons / 11 games 2013) is number 1 ruck and very likely to score 70 + -> at least $100K profit
Premium defender (Hanley, Enright, Thompson) will be a keeper - well probably
Georgiou - safe since so cheap and likely to play enough to make a pile of cash

vs

NicNait - poor preseason, likely to get the vest (esp looking at their early draw), had (s?) OP, has big Cox, likley to drop IMO rather than skyrocket in price initially
Suckling - value but coming of a serious knee injury worries me a bit - 1. rest/ vest 2. Injury prone??. Prob not a keeper either.
Webster - a rookie in a very poor team. What sort of chances would he have been to get a gig in your team at that price last year?

See, I like Leue.

But, R1 is a lot more important than D3. I think there is more at risk with less margin for error in R than D.

I plan to hold R1 until I get a better look at a few of them.

Minson and Goldy are so expensive. Their inclusion really makes my team look weaker.

Cox worries me with age and NicNait looming.

The others like McEvoy, Mummy (too late anyway), Ryder are not for me.

Jacobs -  pffft.

Leaves NicNait - my great white hope - for later,

And Leue - maybe not quite convinced he can be top 3 - 4.

Sandi might just be the deal of the century.

Hickey/Sandi over Leuy and Suckers! D4/R1 combo

Been pondering about R1 all pre-season. Hickey or other Mid-Pricers could make good cash and would be a POD. Personally been looking between Leuey, Nic Nat and Goldy all pre-season. I reckon that Nic Nat is too cheap to dismiss and Leuey would be a great option.

However Goldy's stats for mine are too hard to ignore. 16 tons from 22 matches, 10 of which against top 8 sides (for arguments sake Essendon included as a top 8 side) and a lowest score of 82. I've worked out a way to fit him in without compromising my structure and he is now my R1.

As a league oriented SCer I want value so will get him cheaper later - and cheaper not just because surely he will drop, but by then Hickey will be worth a fair bit more than now.
