With talk of Rioli playing a major role down back, Mitchell & Birchall.. can we still expect Suckling to return to the scores of 2yrs back.

I'm thinking Webster's output may be very similar for $70k less.. Also with Langdon & Georgiou looking like they will play a bit, the risk doesn't appear to be much?!

I might be Suckling to Boris.

What would you do with the newfound 70k? That's the real question. Webster has little potential, Suckers mis a proven scorer. Given Rioli's flair and talent up front he would be a waste if he spent lots of time off HB. Stratton and Shoenmakers both being out leaves 2 holes in defence anyway. Not at all a worry for suckers imo

I am happy to have both. :)

I'm thinking of doing this as the extra $70 will help me upgrade Thurlow to Daniher (now that it looks like he's unlikely and there are zero other forward rookie options)

im doing it my friend. i havent yet made a sc team though. i feel webster will be even better in sc, he has a very accurate penetrating left foot, even lenny hayes spoke highly of his leg. hes put on weight and aerobic capacity. especially first round he will rotate through the centre. lock him in.

What's this about Rioli playing down back?

??? There's quite a few forward rookies and I certainly wouldn't put Daniher at the top of the pack...
Rohan better value than Daniher, otherwise McDonough, Impey, JKH should play, Sam Frost didn't do too badly either. Daniher a lot of money for questionable improvement...

Likely stems from this:

Still, not worried ;)
Hmm that is interesting. Possibly with Sewell and co out early on, SMitch may move back into the midfield

The bit I don't get is that's written as though the hawks have trouble getting the ball out of defence?? Once Lake is back, and later on Shoey and Stratton, how are they possibly going to justify playing Rioli in a defensive role? Who replaces him up front? Breust surely isn't the livewire Rioli is...

Probably someone like Anderson until they sort out Garlett
