Is Luke McDonald a must have?

Bully

I think we're all forgetting how much of a gun McDonald is, whether that translates to SC points is up for contention but he's almost a certainty to finish in the top 5 in the Rising Star award. Couple that with his MPP status and he becomes essential IMO.

He is a must , will play every game , it's terrible to have a rookie on the bench who will be there every week .
I understand the excitement about the scores of Langdon and laidler , but Lmac is the one you can rely on being there very week . .
If you are in my league I am more than  Happy for you to leave him out , I think the bigger question is do you leave out Webster/suckling and bring in an extra rookie , ie : Langford and georgio . .?

Yeah I've got him locked if he lines up round 1 without the green vest.

Bully

If he's vested then I'll pass, can't see it happening to be honest.

Dayze

I see him as being the midfield link I create round 9.
Perfect m9 swing come finals

frenzy

as a north supporter, I reckon the brain fade that is Brad Scott won't even name him round 1. why did he miss the last praccie against Geelong? I could be wrong, but I could also be right!

RaisyDaisy

I hear so much good stuff about this kid, especially from North fans which gives me confidence and I have him, but I really do picture him getting subbed a few times which is my only concern

At 182k, I dare say I might actually pass if he starts as sub this week - every chance I can grab him in a few weeks time for the same price or there abouts

If he is sub and other rookies are selected, then pass.

Langford, Georgiou, Cutler and Fuller all potentially play after him.

Also, if 111 seems important then options aplenty.

For structure, I'd say he's a lock. Only a few rookie priced players to choose from down back to really consider.
Langdon surprised me a little, stoked I have him (albeit on the bench).
Georgiou I am not completely convinced with JS + scoring capacity.
Langford I rate, but still has to get a regular gig in a strong Hawks outfit- he's earned his stripes, but has to keep performing.
Laidler I think will actually hold his place now- I suspect a reasonable pick, I missed that boat- may be a correction trade depending on how things play out.
Cameron- a 50 from 7 touches isn't the worst, would like him to get more footy though- glad i stayed off.
Clurey- eek.
