Hey guys,
Don't usually ask for advice but this one is killing me.

Having a real problem with my team right now. Just locked in Georgiou considering the news of his upgrade and downgraded Jimmy Webster to him. Then upgraded McEvoy to Naitanui considering his ready round 1. Now I have 110k in the kitty and don't know where to spend it. My team follows

Mitchell, Hanley, Simpson, McDonald, Laidler, Langford (Langdon, Georgiou)
Ablett, Pendles, Beams, Murphy, Thomas, Tyson, Michie, Polec (Ellis, Dunstan)
Naitanui, Sandi (Thurlow, King)
Dangerfield, Martin, Franklin, Parker, Caddy, Higgins (Rohan, JKH)

IMO the 5 rookies in the backs and mids are locks and will not trade them which leaves me with my ruck and forwardline.
I can see King > Currie if named but it still it leaves me with 90k.

Caddy cannot be upgraded to a mid-pricer that I can see as a keeper. Even with the 110k I still can't reach Gunston or Zorko
The best option to upgrade Higgins to Hawkins, who I cant see being a keeper again.
I can also do Mcdonald > Suckling but not sure if thats the best option as I feel if I leave McDonald out I will regret it. Also will have to downgrade Naitanui to McEvoy

My question is should I sit or can you guys see a better option to use the money on.

Thanks

if ya feel comfortable with ya team then having that in the kitty for the first upgrade will come in handy, the suckling trade would be the one i would look at, 3 rookies on field down back is cutting it a little thin as noone really knows how much JS most of the guys have besides maybe McDonald and Laidler now that Johnson has reinjured his knee

I think Hanley can wait as he plays 2 pretty tough opening rounds.

I think Hurn is better value as he plays 3 soft opening rounds.

Saves you a bit to start with and makes your $110K into $154K.

Then Langford to Webster - I know you said you will NOT trade - but you might??

Or instead of a risky NicNait (vest and injury and fitness concerns) get Goldy.

Feeling confident that Langdon will hold his spot after that performance. Georgiou's JS is looking pretty good to me. I feel with Garland out for at least another 2 and needing to regain fitness he should stay in until at least round 5. Also Roos wants mature bodies in the team. Langford's JS is sketchy but should get a few good games in before his dropped.

Can't see Hurn as value tbh. I agree with Hanley's two opening rounds but would prefer to lock in Enright over Hurn. Nic Nat of course is an injury concern, but I don't see Goldy giving out similar output to last year for some reason.

Langford to Webster is appealing though, but if I had that cash I would prefer to go Mcdonald > Suckling.
