I feel I am making changes for the sake of making changes.  I'm looking for some guidance - make some changes or walk away.

Def:
McVeigh, Mitchell, Hanley, Malceski, Pittard, McDonald - Langford, Georgio

Mids:
Ablett, Pendelbury, Rockliff, L. Shiels, Michie, Polec, Ellis, Dunstan - Crouch, Robertson

Rucks:
Leuenburger, Sandilands - Currie, Thurlow

Fwds:
Dangerfield, Roughhead, Hale, Zorko, Wright, Rohan - Colledge, Kennedy-Harris

I have tried to go with as close to a set and forget Def, Ruck & Fwd lines as possible and hope for significant growth in the mids - without starting with a mid line that won't score enough.

I'm also trying for a team that is a little bit different.  I think I've got a little bit different but keep finding myself thinking "what if Hurn/Suckling/Simpson/Beams/Murphy/Thomas/Caddy/Higgins/Pav/Buddy fire better than my choices?"

Please help me settle down and walk away.

Wow some unique picks thats for sure.

Backs: You're missing a player for starters. Only 5 named on the field. Looks solid tho. Malceski being a sneaky pick could pay off. He's a proven SC scorer.

Not a fan of hanley myself, better options for that price I believe but a lot of coaches have stuck with him after an outstanding year last year.

Mids: Solid aswell, Rockliff has potential to score some massive scores. Don't like the look of shiels personally maybe wines could be a better pick?

Rucks: Very Solid. Same as mine :)

Fwds: I would only go with one of Roughhead/hale and maybe pick up caddy. I like the looks of hale had im in my side up until last night. Also not a fan of zorko. had im last year and wasn't too pleased with his scores. Maybe this year will be different. Like rockliff he does have the potential to score very well as he has done in the past.

I understand you're frustration but I believe there is a reason why more common players are favoured. Its mind wrecking game this supercoach. All the best mate

Thanks Macca I had forgotten Pittard.  I've now amended the team.

I'm a lions man so having trouble cutting the Hanley cord.  If he goes, I'm thinking either Scotland, Broadbent Frawley or Grimes.

For Zorko I was considering Mitchell, Parker or Walters.  I don't think parker or Walters will end up being keepers tho' and I don't want my team to look like a hybrid of a Hawk and a Swan.

Ideas?

Backs 1 short as Macca said.  Pittard, wow!
I think you need 4 premo mids and shields is not a premo.
Good rucks,
Roughy & hale in the same  fwd line.  Get rid of 1 of them and I would also only have either 1 of zorko or Wright, not both.

essendon

hanley is fine, malceski i wouldnt do though (he was a couple years ago)
shiels is a risk, and i wouldnt go with him this year, hes not going to be top 10 mids season end and wont make you much money.
rucks a re standard
i wouldnt go with hale either, and zorko could go alright hes a POD at least

Good team man.

The changes I would make though are Malceski out for Suckling.

and then use the extra cash to upgrade shiels in the mids.

Also I would take Hale out and put in caddy.

Rate 8/10 :)

I really like the look of your team mate. I like the selection of malceski I think it's a great POD. I originally had shiels in my side bit I'm not 100 percent sold on him and I'm a hawks fan. He is our number one tagged for the last few seasons and I think once some injured players return he will be back to tagging.

A good looking team though and I like how unique it is

Thanks mate.

With only $34K left I'm tossing between Shiels, K. Stevens or McCrae. or I suppose I could follow the crowd to daisytown?
