Please rate out of 10 and give some tips.

I know there are a few risks in there such as Higgins, but that is part of the game.

Hi mate good luck.

Def - 6/10 (3 mid premos and 5 rookies / unknown qty) DEF Rookies also doubtful to play early on.
Mid  - 7/10 - no gazza? Rookies are solid, similar to  mine
Rucks: 6/10.  Sandi will eat Grundy alive on Friday.  IMO, Would look at changing Grundy to Luenberger or Big Boy
Fwd: 8.5/10. Your strongest line IMO
Note:  You have Danger, Dusty & Wingard as DPP fwds who can also play in Mids but no DPP mid that can play forward?

Overall I would rate 7/10. Room for improvement in both player selection & team structure with DPP players
(I ranked top 150 last yr)

I don't believe in DPP being necessary. I think that if I can get all the good MID/FWD's in my forward line and the best pure mids filling up my midfield. That improves my total score output as opposed to having 1 or 2 of the MID/FWD's clogging up the midfield.

Yes I have gone without Gazza, I will get him during the year and the main reason is I believe Pendlebury will go above his average for this year.

Yea a do like it mate. Overall you have a very strong side that would beat 90% of teams.   I would usually rate yours around 8.5/10.  But if your aiming for top 1000, I think structure becomes important and hence why i rated 7/10.
Difference of opinion I guess, I think that DPP got me uinto the top 200 last yr, without the flexibility I dont think I would of been that high.

Def: Tippett is on the rookie list and cannot play. Curran JS would be poor at best. Would Pearce get a gig in the dogs defense? Look at Langford/Langdon/Clurey/Cameron here

Mid: Need GAJ- if it means GAJ over Pendles you still need Gaz- look to upgrade Crouch to Aish/Dunstan- prefer Tyson over Martin

Ruck: Grundy is a no-no. The fact they promoted Hudson off the rookie list shows a lack of confidence in him at Collingwood IMO. Much better options for R1

Fwd: Solid- Impey over Merrett on the bench

completely restructure your back line start from scratch keeping just Mitchell and suckling, rest is fine ........not sure how you were a tap 1000 player but ill take you word

I'm going with Grundy based on the number 1 ruck rule. Hudson is only still there in case Grundy gets injured (Hudson only played 7 games last year)

If you really doubt my ruck choice maybe have a look at this thread I posted 2 years back about Ivan Maric.http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,48924.0.html

I did fix up some of the rookies though (especially in the backline). I hadn't paid too much attention to them until now.
