Thurlow and King for now unless there is a rookie ruck named next weekend.

Isn't Thurlow a rookie?

No guarantee he'll be upgraded

Would you pick a mid-pricer for the bench then? no way- you would have to make downgrades in your best 22- not worth it IMO.

If no rookie rucks are named you just have to carry 2 cheap rucks. One who may play down the track (all the ones that have been mentioned) and a cheap R4 loophole (in this case King)

Cannot see Dixon or Hale in top 10 forwards and won't take that risk either.

I'm not going to pick a mid pricer....

If you are going to pick a rookie that is not upgraded, don't pick one that costs you about $16,000 more for just sitting on the bench

Sandilands - Hickey - Non playing rookie - No rookie
So tempting and cheap this way but if one goes down there is not much to choose from and one trade gone.

flower you Sydney! You played them all for the nab challenge and make us feel safe then just flick them to the side as soon as the season starts :(

Vinny

Pft Sandi to play 22 anyway.

Kidding, there's not much we can do anyway haha. Risk Thurlow and grab King for the loophole I think.

Tom Nicholls R1?? haha!

But seriously, with Gorringe out I'm thinking of starting Dixon with the view to move him into my Forward line later

This is the setup I am going with

Anyone going with Derickx on the bench regardless? Is listed as an emergency and was the best option judging by NAB or is that just silly when we have next week to assess again with guys like Thurlow?

Yep I'm leaving him on the bench for now. Though it's pretty hard to see how he breaks into that 22, and surely ROK will come in first unless it's an injury...
