Let me know what you think - im pretty happy with it so far.

DEF: Hanley, Simpson, Swallow, Watts, Suckling, McDonald (Laidler, Giorgiou)
MID: Ablett, Boyd, Rockliff, Beams, Thomas, Tyson, Polec, Sheed (Michie, Dunstan)
RUC: Lobbe, Sandilands (Currie, Thurlow)
FWD: Dangerfield, Martin, Gunston, Zorko, Caddy, Rohan (McCarthy, Kennedy-Harris)

Without getting to technical the team stands up pretty good. It all depends what your trying to achieve. I feel like this team can't win the 50k but it is a pretty unique league team if playing for cash.

Def - I would try and get at least one of Walker, Bartel, McVeigh or Mitchell. If laidler isn't picked obviously you can use that cash to upgrade. Watts looked ok the other night, still a big ? though.

Mids - Boyd ok, maybe passed it. Still a great player, but maybe K.Jack or Libba young guns are the way to go even Cotchin! Tyson, Polec, Sheed all good, you could even play Michie drop sheed and use money elsewhere.

Ruks - Lobbe not a fan. I've bashed him heaps on this site so I won't say anymore, because it might just be my opinion. I really like BIG MAC, or Goldstein, not sure why everyone is jumping of this guy. Expensive but with Del Santo added to there midfield his taps to advantage with increase! Also The improvement from Ziebell and co.

Fwd - Wouldn't change it.!

Overall I like the team, maye just a few tweeks. Maybe repost with a few ideas to discuss and in the end you can always go back to the original team.

Also any money left in the kitty?

So, i've made a few changes.

RUC: Goldstein, Sandilands (Currie, Thurlow)
FWD: Dangerfield, Martin, Gunston, Zorko, Caddy, Rohan (McCarthy, Kennedy-Harris)

Watts->Webster
Boyd->Jack
Lobbe->Goldy
Watts into Webster makes me enough cash to upgrade boyd to jack and lobbe to goldy.
Leaves me with less than 5k.
I know im weak in defence but stronger in mids and rucks.

Am I missing something? Why are people picking Webster. Played 11 games with an average of 44 and highest score of 85. ???

looked into his numbers, nothing impressive....just a bit of speculative form i suppose.

If i downgrade him to someone like Langford and upgrade swallow to mitchell - would that be a more positive move?

Not sure whether Langford has good JS  if he does he is more of a sub candidate. I think you only went Webster because of the 90 he scored, against a different opposition he may not go as well.
But you have a good strategy thereYour Ruck has certainly improved with Goldstein now included
Hopefully not having Pendles dosen't hurt your team. Just wondering who you will have captain in round 2 when he is up against Crowley.
Your forward has great depth.
