Round 1 2014 Team! Thoughts?

DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Mitchell, K. Simpson, C. Enright, M. Suckling, L. McDonald (T. Clurey, A. Georgiou)

Gone stronger in defence as I don't have big trust in the rookies getting regular games. Gone with 4 premos here with McVeigh, Mitchell, Simmo and Enright. McVeigh and Mitchell are basically midfielders who can average 105 so definitely in my side. Simpson is consistently a 90's player along with Enright and although his a year older I reckon his got one strong year left in him, could be a bit of a POD too. Suckling is good value. McDonald looks like getting games and can find the ball. Clurey and Georgiou are subject to change based on whose named round 1.

MID: G. Ablett, S. Pendlebury, D. Beams, D. Thomas, D. Tyson, V. Michie, J. Polec, X. Ellis (L. Dunstan, H. Cunningham)

Weak line here but I still have the 3 must have players in my opinion (Ablett, Pendles and Beamsy). Daisy should get midfield time early with Judd out and I see him going between 90-100 which is great for his price to be upgraded to a fallen premo by the byes. Tyson looks great value for someone who will be playing as a key mid, along with Michie. Polec needs to get regular games but has showed in NAB he can score very well when given the opportunity. Ellis should average 70ish. Dunstan looks very good with his clearances and contested ball winning and M10 will come down to Cunningham vs Crouch if either are named.

RUC: N. Naitanui, A. Sandilands (D. Currie, M. King)

NicNat is good value if he gets fit by round 1, im willing to cop a couple of down scores the first couple of games if it saves me a trade and especially when I would eventually get him in anyway, will be in the top 3 rucks come seasons end. Sandi is amazing value at 310K for someone who can go 90-110. Hoping he can get through byes and will reassess. Currie might get some games as #2 ruck to goldy. King there to enable the captain loophole.

FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, J. Roughead, L. Franklin, S. Higgins, G. Rohan (J. Kennedy-Harris, J. Impey)

Gone strong here again with 4 premos. Danger and Martin are locks as forwards. Roughy should be more of a target with buddy gone and will get stints up the ground pinch hitting in the ruck meaning more possessions as well, should stick around 100. Buddy is too good value to make me not pick him, should go around 95-100 but is capable of much more and that's what scares me about not picking him. If Higgins can get through to the byes il be stoked! Rohan there for JS basically. Have had Caddy all pre season and feel bad not picking him, do you reckon he is a must at that price as a breakout, his DE% isn't great but his past two praccy games he has had 29 and 27 possessions, I don't want to miss out on him if he can keep that up? :/
