So ive noticed a lot of posts and teams that have been about/included Rockliff....

Why?

He was okay to use last season as a forward, but there are better midfielders out there. Im not trying to make people shy away from him but he burnt me 2 seasons ago after he had that awesome year, he had a great end to last season but im still not convinced.

So is there something i don't know?

go look at his last 5 rounds last year with a new coach and was in the midfield

Basically Voss isn't there anymore. Rocky got heaps of Brownlow votes when he was played in the midfield, so hopefully the new coach will know what to do with him.  ::)

I will start him in AF but nit SC & DT.

When he plays pure Mid he racks up the points - and picks up some handy goals if he 'rests' up forward.

Voss for some reason played him at Full Forward for the majority of the game, then moved him into the mids (at which point he would rack up possessions and DT points), and then Vossy in all of his wisdom (I loved him as a player though) would put him back to Full Forward and away goes his DT points.

I assume that people are hoping that Leppitsch, after a few years as an assistant, will be able to realise that Rocky is a Jet in the Mids and will only be forward to REST.

That's why he is in my team at least.

Last 8 rounds of 2013 - 134, 120, 97, 144, 115, 95, 139, 140.

Average - 123.

Round 10 bye helps aswell

When playing midfield he averages 3rd in the league for disposals, behind Swan and Ablett.

If he plays midfield he racks up the ball and won't get tagged unless there are injuries to Rich and Hanley.
