With rnd 1 fast approaching it seems as though our options for rookie fwds are thinning out. daniel markworth has not played in the NAB challenge, Shane Kersten is apparently not going to play rnd 1 and Nathan Bock is only going to be available after rnd 1. Gary Rohan seems like the only player under 200K who is 100% definitely going to play round 1.

Apart from Gary Rohan, which fwds under 200k do u think are most likely to play rnd 1?

Here is a list of fwds priced under 200k who probably are most likely play in round 1, considering they have played at least one Nab challenge game - either scoring ok or getting a lot of TOG.

Gary Rohan - 138,400
Nab 1 - 58
Nab 2- 80 (83% TOG)

Lincoln McCarthy - $135,500
Nab 1 - 59
Nab 2 - 33 (84% TOG)

Jay Kennedy-Harris - $157,200
Nab 1 - 69
Nab 2- DNP

Murray Newman - $155,600
Nab 1 - 76
Nab 2 - 35 (73% TOG)

Robin Nahas - $178,100
Nab 1 - 48
Nab 2- 70

Sam Blease - $172,400
Nab 1 - 25
Nab 2 - 53 (66% TOG)

Fraser McInnes - $115,200
Nab 1 - DNP
Nab 2 - 47 (80% TOG)

Jeremy McGovern - $115,200
Nab 1 - DNP
Nab 2 - 41 (67% TOG)

Brant Colledge - $126,700
Nab 1 - DNP
Nab 2 - 66 (78% TOG)

Dean Towers
Nab 1 - 48
Nab 2 - 39 (86% TOG)

Caolan Mooney - $135,500
Nab 1 - DNP
Nab 2 - 53

Mitch Honeychurch - 135,500
Nab 1 - DNP
Nab 2 - 30 (40% TOG)

And as a last resort there is always this guy, but i dont want it to come to this-
LRT - $146,700
Nab 1 - DNP
Nab 2 - 31 (69% TOG)

Sorry if i have missed any others. Im interested to hear peoples opinions, cheers oc16

regarding Z. Merrett - wouldnt he be a prime vest candidate? but then again i guess most of them are going to be :(

compared to the others he is also expensive.

After their game against Melbourne Chris Scott said Lincoln McCarthy and Mitch Brown also are in their best 22 at the present time. Definitely should be considered i reckon

Brown isn't listed as a forward unfortunately. ;)

As the saying goes - you get what you pay for. I'd pick a couple of cheap options ahead of him but he is well and truly in the mix for my team.

Ricochet

I'm locking in McCarthy, Rohan and Blease so far

nickstiges

Could add Sam Lloyd from Richmond to that list too with 57 & 66 from his games.
