F6 and D6

I think these 2 positions are the hardest to fill by a mile this year. Depending on how you structure your team you could have McDonald as D6 and say Lamb or someone around that price at F6, however that is going to mean starting with probably 4 premium midfielders (that's including Beams).

With the way I have structured my team I will need to take a risk on a couple players at F6 and D6 and hope it pays off. At the moment I am considering Nahas at F6 and have no idea about D6.

Who are you taking a risk on in these positions?

Yep these are the two positions I am struggling with at the moment as well.

I have gone Laidler and Rohan at this stage, though I have 260k in the bank to upgrade Rohan to Higgins, just worried he'll start with the vest as he is eased back into playing footy.

I have gone with exactly what you mentioned:

4 premo mids (Swan, Rocky, Cotchin, Beams)
Mcdonald as D6
Rohan as F6

I think lots of people will do something similar. It's just very hard to find more than 1 solid rookie priced option in those positions, but plenty in the mids.

Yeah I've got McDonald at D6 and Rohan at F6, but have managed to fit in 5 premo mids and Daisy, plus cash in the bank.  Gone with the cheaper mids, but for def and fwd it could all change depending on who's named round 2.

current;y have this too, with daisy in the mids as well. Have to play the rookies where there available, usually its about working out where the best ones are but this year there pretty much only in the mids. Got Tyson, Michie, Beams, Ellis and Polec as mid rookies and can't see anyone forward or back beating any of them.

I have the same here although i have Jobe instead of cotchin. I also have Lamb at F6 (Rohan at F7).
I agree with Spanner here that you have to have as many money makers as you can and if that means having a slightly weaker midfield then so be it

McDonald & Caddy

Load up more rookies in the mids - more quality there and more money making chances.
