Hey guys, would love a little bit of feedback on this one please!


Defenders
McVeigh, Mitchell, Simpson, Swallow, Suckling, McDonald (Clurey, Langdon)

Midfielders
Ablett, Pendlebury, Rockliff, Beams, Thomas, Tyson, Michie, Polec (Ellis, Crouch)

Rucks
Hickey, Sandilands (Thurlow, Nankervis)

Forwards
Dangerfield, Martin, Mitchell, Wright, Higgins, Rohan (Kennedy-Harris, Honeychurch)



Any thoughts? If you have comments on any risky players I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

I will never get burned by Higgins again!

I also thought about Suckling as a cash cow however he's a risky pick IMHO.

My alternative to Higgins is Fasolo which would gain me 43k. Going to see how Higgins plays tonight if he is in.

Going for value? Ablett/Pendles/Rockliff/McVeigh/Mitchell/Danger/Martin/Simpson are not value players. Those are 8 top end premiums there mate.

Your team seems fairly standard imo in terms of 'value.'

Cookie cutter mids and if anything your rucks and forwards might be below par. You defence compared to most is slightly (+5-10 points) better ie: Mitchell instead of Hibberd/Hanley. Do you have leftover cash to spend?


Sorry if this sounds harsh, I only mean that if you are going for value players you might take advantage of the cash you are saving a bit better. Just compared to my team for example (which is fairly standard) I have Caddy at F5 and Impey at F6.
My mids are almost the same, rucks I have nicnat/sandi (NicNat will prob be changed) and def I have McVeigh/Hanley/Hurn/Swallow/Suckling/McDonald which is similar. Just seems if anything like you have expensive rookies eg Ellis on the bench.

For value, I guess I was referring to the rucks and Forwards, where I have several players who most don't have. Hickey, Mitchell, Wright, Higgins, Rohan...all ones that should score well above their price range, as well as Swallow who isn't unique but is a value buy. I've got 10 premiums as opposed to most teams who have 12.

I have $7,000 left. I have been tinkering with the rookies and if I put Tyson down to Sheed (for example), I would have $56,000.

I have a more expensive defence than others because I believe that there is not as much value there this year as in the forward line, which has a multitude of cash cow options.  I'm hoping to try and bring in Fasolo for Honeychurch, but would need a few more $..
