I was deciding between the three as well, originally had Buddy/TMitch but now just have buddy. Im waiting to see the buddy playbook but like stated above i think he will play up the ground. He will have a point to prove to show he's worth the $$$$ and he will want to put his stamp on his new city. Still tempted to swap to Mitch though :-\

And just to throw another one in the mix, all be it with a harder draw but due for some more mid time. Son Son, Elite kick, training the house down and very vocal leading the way out on track
Yes, I was in Freo a couple of times in the preseason and stopped in to see how the purple mob were going  :-[

Son son?

Buddy had an appalling year by his standards last year - and that I think is key, his standard is usually much higher than that. He's been a (the) top forward for years, yes he's now in a new team but he's still a classy player. The contract talks year seems to kill players - Ablett dropped 10 points in his last season at Geelong, Cloke dropped 17 points in 2012 with Collingwood. They bounce back. You cannot substitute his experience and freakish talent for anything. For that price, lock in buddy. All 3 are a risk, biggest upside is clearly buddy at his proven best.

Very true Kiwi, spot on mate

I think you have start with Buddy. At his price, his a lock and you wont lose money on him.

Calling all Geelong supporters....especially those who selected Ablett the Sun.

How did you go cheering him on after his defection north?

Did you feel morally bankrupt?

Should I get Buddy the turncoat or cast an evil spell upon his coke addled soul?

You could have buddy in your supercoach team and still hate him... keep your friends close and your enemies closer - you're still pretty keen on Higgins right? Case closed.

Be very careful with TMitchell mate. Don't let his NAB form draw you in too much. Both he and Parker have attended more centre bounces than JPK, Jack, Hannebery and ROK. Come round 1 I can't see this continuing. Expect TMitchell to go back to the fwd role we saw at the end of last year that lead to his drop in output.

No doubt he will be a superstar one day but can't see him getting enough mid time to increase his output enough.

Id go buddy, Mitchell was brilliant in his last nab game, but in that game, jpk, jack and hanneberry all failed to break 60sc, they are still the guns and will take over the midfield points come season proper. Add McVeigh and possibly buddyand parker and I see mitchell as the 5-6 best scorer at the swans at best. Without looking at stats I dont know too many clubs where 6+ players score 105 or more, and really think mitchell needs to go 100-105 to be a viable choice.

forgot ROK, so make him the 6-8 best scorer at the club.
