Clarkson has already said Billy Hartung is the rookie leading the race. Best endurance, better prepared and completed the most training sessions of any of the rookies. And he barely even got a run in the first NAB game.....

I'm not expecting Garlett to play until mid season. I think Clarkson is making him work for his opportunity, probably him more so than any of the others. Make sure he has the right attitude......

clarko is just letting garlett know he will not get it handed to him on a platter

rd 1 comes along - garlett probably wont play as its a pencilled in win

after that garlett will be absolutely trying his guts out to get a gig

rd 2 comes along, Garlett is in, and plays like a madman all year to stay in the side

too easy....the coach has to play his best 22..and he will...Cyril off the half back is a perfect move, Garlett to take his place up forward

Never rule a guy out until round 1, but it's not looking good. A sub if anything, but yeh wold be a great downgrade option.
