If he kills it early then this is the only sensible solution of you want Ablett, Pendles and D Beams early - and I do.

Also I have to consider that Martin will be a starter and if he really does well, he'll be hard to get rid of judging by previous years and the injury, form, suspension dramas we've suffered.

Selwood and maybe Cotchin also need consideration as round 8 bye guys.

In light of our discussions PF I've made 1 alteration. Ziebell out and Priddis in, the  bye structure now being
   7 / 10 / 13.  Leaves plenty of room to move. Hmmmnn  perhaps one more change,  J Grimes goes and Atley comes in, leaves 90 k  and now a bye set up of  8 / 10 / 12      Cheers and best of luck mate.

Cheers good luck ST. Just for the record, I do have Zieb - I think with his weight drop, the addition of NDS, and the new interchange rule pumping his TOG he is extreme value. I've picked him now ahead of other round 8 guys such as J and D Martin and Pendles.
You can bring in another round 8 defender without losing anything as you only have one you can bench right now. Though I'm not sold at all on the Atley hype. But thats a completely different discussion :)

I had Ziebell in my original team since I heard he'd dropped 10kg over the summer break. But I still wasn't sure on him because of the whole most interchanges player in the AFL stat.

He is a contested possession machine and if he has worked on his endurance I'm seriously considering startin him over Pendles and picking up Pendles after his bye.

Is this just a NAB aberration or could this actually work, would allow me to strengthen another line.

My mids are currently:
Ablett. Pendles/Ziebell. Fyfe. Beams. Thomas. Aish. Ellis. Michie. (Dunstan. Perris.)
