Hey guys, aiming to improve on my overall ranking and push for the top 100 overall. Heres my current team, its a bit risky but I have the premiums I want and hopefully if the rookies are named round 1 then I can go through with this team. I've decided against starting martin/Tyson as I don't have the cash and it is Dale Thomas + Xavier Ellis vs. Jack Martin + Dom Tyson and im pretty sure the first two should score more if fit and playing. Cheers guys.

Hi Mate.  I was in the tpo 150 last yr and heres my opinion on your team.

Backs - Good but a tad weak,  Im concerned with suckling as d4, especially as your aiming so high this year. I have suckling as my d5 and very similar rookies,

Mids:  Very strong, no arguments there

Rucks:  Once again very strong

F: Really good but im concerned with both  Rohan & Garlett both on the field

Overall a great base to work with mate.  Goodluck.

Looks pretty good Coxy

however what is your plan when O'Rourke, Honeychurch, Cutler & Garlett aren't named rd1???
seeing as they are all pretty much basement price you will find it hard to find 4 replacements, if you work around having a couple more expensive rookies at the expense of Thomas you will find it easier to move when, no doubt, the inevitable will happen.

Caddy at F4 is a risk when most will have a Pav or Zorko etc there, added to that allot will be on him so he's no real POD either

Hi Coxy

The way I rate teams is I add up the score I estimate their best 22 is worth and the total is the score. The higher the better.

Yours came out at 2256.

My current team is at 2264. Yours is the highest I have seen other than mine. The next highest I've seen is around 2225.

Stick with what you've got. That is a very good team, as long as you are happy to rely on Hurn and Caddy to come good all year, whom I've only rated at 90 and 90.

I cannot suggest what I would do instead of your team really as we have gone for different types of teams. My team has different rookies. I have Martin, Claye Beams and Dom Sheed as starters, and I have Kade Simpson up back, instead of Cotchin, whom I rate to average 117 this year (I have picked Rockliff to also average 117, but consider him safer than Cotchin due to his string of 10 games at the end of last year where he averaged 128).

Your team is the best team I have seen on Fanfooty so far and I've looked at a lot of teams. Place faith in your PODs, Hurn and Caddy, and hopefully a little luck will fall your way.

10/10

good points here... I really like your team aswell... I think your fwd line is weak and although I love the 2 rucks you have the risk is far too great...
sandi - ( I have him) should dominate and get 105+ average... concern is he will be rested during the bye rounds to preserve him assuming he wont already be injured which he is prone to be... can you cover him in such a volatile time
nic nat -  says he will be ready rd 1 after surgery but will be bought into the team responsibly... prob the sub first 2 games... are you happy with those sub par scores then domination or do you want 100+ from the start... for the price he is there are other options... if nic nat full fit by round 4 he will score the best of all rucks imo... but can you deal with the first couple of poor scores? and what if the injury flares up... its a risk that could make or break... thoughts?
