Young and Docherty possible cash cows?

Could be a Cash Cow starting at $283,800. Appeared to train well in the practice match at training and is possibly over his injury. If he worth getting over a rookie?
Haven't seen much of Docherty but according to Malthouse, he will slot in the starting 22 based on talent wise. Starting at $285,000, I'd expect that to rise especially under Malthouse.

Im not sold on docherty, malthouse was asked about 4 players as a group, and said they will all make it, think it was just an easier response then saying well thomas will, but cripps and docherty arent good enough!

Young I will be watching closely, buckley said he sees him more as a specialist wingman than defender which is promising for his scores.

I'll have a keen eye on Docherty during the NAB Challenge, reckon he could potentially slot in as a backline mid-pricer.

It really depends how Carlton structure their backline though. Ideally you'd want him playing the rebounding defender role, but if Walker and Simpson are down back again this year who knows how they will use him.
