i know most teams will change a gazillion times before round 1, but what are thoughts on this team thus far ?

Gordon?? I'd go Ellis instead. And stay away from Higgins! Other than that it looks good

I'd upgrade 1 of the rucks at least, and downgrade longer.

Downgrade Higgins.

And I woudn't be starting with Watson, Cotchin, Murphy and Thomas all coming off quiet years.  I'd upgrade 2 of them (Watson and Murphy) and hang onto Cotchin and Thomas.

i cant bring myself to downgrade longer, i think he will offer consistent good bench cover.  I see what you mean in the mids with finishing last season quietly, but its a new year :)
