ACTING Adelaide co-captains Patrick Dangerfield and Rory Sloane have described the recruitment of free agents Eddie Betts and James Podsiadly as having two additional coaches as the club sets up a tilt at the 2014 finals.

What had impressed Dangerfield more than the pair's talents was how quickly they had been able to acclimatise and become important voices at training.

No doubt having those two recruits will benefit the new captains, as will the experience of Reilly, Truck and Thommo. Really very happy with the team structure now

No secret the Jpod will more than likely end up in the fitness department with Adelaide in a year or two, Betts has been spoken very highly of since joining and he is well heard at training lending his knowledge, great for the young small forwards and talls for that matter, Crows also recruited two very talented Indigenous lads as well with Charlie and Batterz!
