A late draft pick in 2011, he played a senior game in 2012 against GWS. 177cm / 79kg, Mathew Stokes is 175/77. Missed the whole of last season due to injury so is starting again this year. Two years worth of recruits have effectively caught him so he may struggle to get a game. i think he will play this season in the reserves.
This will be his 3rd pre-season though so his body will be maturing. I will be watching him in the pre season comp to see where they play him. Has a good work ethic and did not drop his head last season though it must have been tough. May have the mental attitude to succeed at Geelong.

Would of played last season had he not injured his foot in pre season.

Will be one to watch in the pre season. Deserves a break. The fact he has had a senior game shows that the coaches rate him.
