Not a bad team

Just ensure you select playing rookies from Round 1.

Can not see Archie Smith getting games as he is on a Rookie list at Brisbane, Similar with Tom Cutler who is probably a little way down the Lions pecking order behind Gardner and McStay.

Def: Solid but think you need a prem in there as Thompson will not be No 1 defender.but your choice. Ensure your rookie selections are all playing as you are relying on 2 defensive rookies playing each week.  Not a concern if you pick the right ones.
Mids: Very Sound - Again make sure mid rookies are playing as added coverage,
Rucks: Seems to be the favoured pairing and already commented on Smith
Forwards: Again sound but doubt Honeychurch will get early games,

Maggie May

Def:  Looks a little weak.  You don't really have a premium defender (with all respect to Thompson & Waters).  Personally if your going to take the punt on Suckling I think he needs to be in at D4

Mids: Very Strong.  Reckon you could afford to downgrade one of your premos or Daisy and use the cash in your defence.  Bit of a risk leaving out GAJ IMO.

Rucks:  NicNat is in a little doubt for the preseason Comp, so keep an eye on that one.

Forwards:  Got a few uniques there which is good.  Overall very sound.  Billings has been injured during the preseason so he could have a delayed start to next year.

Hi Joshua,
First there are quite a few players which shouldn't be in your team mostly bench players.
Def: I think you need a dpp player in there so maybe replace Thompson with Mcveigh you should also replace Cutler with Gardiner Luke Hodge is a great unique pick on this line
Mids: Very Solid both Rookies should start not sure about Morabito though
Rucks Replace Archie Smith with Rory Nankervis otherwise good starting rucks
Fwds: Don't Like Gary Rohan if you are to go for a Swan Luke Parker will be better.

Overall Good team and its different as there many uniques who may lift there scoring this year.Beau Waters may be a risk worth taking 8/10

I think I have had every single one of your premiums in my team at some point in the last few weeks. Love Sloaney as a POD, Gunston too. Think Scotty T will be a top 8 defender, however you do need someone like Mitchell or McVeigh in there. May have to downgrade a forward or a midfielder to a rookie to generate the cash to do so.

But seriously, our midfields are almost identical. You have Daisy when I have a rookie. That's it for the premos, haha. Good luck for next year mate, just try to get in another top defender, either by trading a rookie to a premo, or maybe dropping Waters for a top defender.

Slightly tweaked, some new names who I'm liking the look of.

Defenders: S.Mitchell, S.Thompson, J.Grimes, M.Suckling, K.Kolodjashnijj, J.Laidler. (M.Fuller, T.Cutler)
Midfield: S.Pendlebury, J.Watson, T.Rockliff, R.Sloane, D.Beams, J.Martin, C.Beams, X.Ellis (L.Dunstan, V.Michie)
Ruck: N.Naitanui, A.Sandilands (T.Nankervis, M.Apeness)
Forward: P.Dangerfield, D.Martin, L.Franklin, J.Gunston, N.Bock, D.Garlett (M.Honeychurch, L.Taylor)

In defence, I have absolute confidence in Mitchell to produce, coupled with Thompson's soft draw and good finish to last season, as well as Grimes' obvious ability, although he may be a risk. Not sure on rookies yet, Laidler should play early with Alex Johnson's absence.

I believe Pendles picks himself whilst I believe Watson, Rockliff and obviously Beams are underpriced and should be top 10 mids. Sloane is gun player and I'm a huge fan, hoping he can top 100, even 115. Love the variety of rookies in the midfield, could almost pick another midfield rookie in O'Rourke/Morabito?

Ruck line is risky again but both players in from are the the top 2 SC ruckmen in the comp. Apeness gives me a R/F option for later upgrades, possibly Dixon.

Confident in Danger obviously, like Martin and Franklin, believe they will score more than last season. Loved Gunners finals series, averaged 99 unsubbed and including finals last year, can go 100+.

Please analyse, rate, Cheers

I really have no issues with this team really.

A few little things though - Make sure having two 'rookie' defenders and in this case Laidler also get game time, otherwise your team is not looking fine and will result in issues. Like your midfield selections but I don't see Sloane becoming a top 10 midfielder whereas your other premium choices I see them all making that target. Don't fancy Thomas??
Rucks are standard, looking good at this stage. Forwards look good, I like most selections there. Really like the Gunston pick, you share my thoughts also. That 99 unsubbed average is 18 more than his end of year average so he has a huge amount of cash to generate. I also really like all of your rookie choices so far, well done.

Well done mate, best of luck!

i agree with most of what Wato has said.

Laidler doesnt worry me, he should get early games with Johnson's absence. Plus sydney love giving 2nd chances.
Grimes... hmm... not sold on him, Or Thompson either. i think you can find other players who will have similar outputs for cheaper.
As Wato said i dont see Sloan being a top 10 Mid come the end of the year.
NicNat underpriced, nice. Sandi Bargain. like the apeness pick, maybe he'll get early games with injuries.
Franklin back to his best without contract talks, love the Gunston pick, i think he should improve.
