Yet another late draft pick unable to get a start because of injury. A similar size to James Kelly, has a reputation for his aggression in contests. If he could keep fit he would be an outstanding addition to our midfield. Lightly framed but a bulldog nature (probably why he keeps getting injured) he could be anything. Fingers crossed this season.

High hopes for Cowan - I've been monitoring his development for a while now. I remember when he made his debut Lingy said he's one of the most promising talents at Geelong, and the fact that they were willing to spend the money to send him overseas for achilles surgery shows how valued he is.

Would have to be a fair way back in the pecking order I would think. Still quite a few talented Cats playing in the VFL that would be ahead of him.

His younger brother is a pretty good player as well. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets drafted when he is eligible.

They got some good draft picks this season to. It's not getting any easier to get into the team. He seems to have what it takes though. In the end it comes down to whether he can add something to the team I guess.
