First crack for 2014

Haven't been trawling these forums as I would normally, but have had a crack anyway.
Let me know what you think:

Backs: Mitchell, Shaw, Hanley, Suckling, Kolodjashnij, Sharenberg  (McDonald, Fuller)
Mids: Pendles, Cotchin, JPK, Prestia, D Beams, J Martin, C Beams, Sheed (O'Rourke, Morabito)
Rucks: NicNat, Sandilands  (Nankervis, Currie)
Fwds: Danger, Buddy, Zorko, Dahlhaus, Karnezis, Hogan  (Garlett, Taylor)


Not too excited about my rucks tbh, injury concerns obviously. Might also need to get a few other mid-pricers in to stay competitive this year, as the guns and rooks strategy might not cut it, expensive young blokes has hurt this year too!

Yes MC rookie premium prices have really hurt this year,  For that reason I have gone of Hogan as I think he is too expensive for a forawrd.  Just personal though,
Def" Solid but need to make sure you have playing rookies from Round 1 so watch.
Mids like the uniqueness here with JPK (who I have not seen in may teams so I classify him unique) and Prestia.
Rucks; Seems to be the preferred option this year.
Fwds: Dalhaus another interesting unique. Just watch Taylor as well to see if named still not in full pre-season training as yet. Bock may be an option for you id named for Round 1.

Overall sound team with some uniques .  Just ensure rookies playing from Round 1 so as to maximise cash gains with byes coming early this year.

Fairly balanced team with a few unique players in there with Shaw , JPK , Prestia and Dahlhaus everyone will be waiting to see if we can unload these expensive rookies for some cheaper ones so until it becomes clearer who will get a game you can only really put down a team with who you think will play and hopefully be able to upgrade with some cheapies cheers

Yeah I like some uniques here and there, and have a sneaky list that i've been keeping since earlier in the year. Of my list of about 12-15 i'll definitely be taking 3 or 4.

I think I can save a fair bit on my rookies, which will mean bringing in another prem or two or else getting a few mid pricers. All speculation for now, was just fun trying to meet the salary cap :)
