Likely to change considerably, as everyone's team generally does between this time of year and the start of the season, but its latest incarnation is:

DEF: Bartel, McVeigh, Birchall, Suckling, R.Shaw, Kolodjashnij (McDonald, Pearce)
MID: Pendlebury, Hannebery, Murphy, Beams, Thomas, Martin, Beams, Michie (Taylor, Hartung)
RUC: Dixon, Jacobs (Apeness, Nankervis)
FWD: Franklin, Mitchell, Zorko, Gray, Mayes, Hogan (Close, Kersten)

I'm not sold on Suckling as yet, he went the traditional route so I'd like to see how he goes in the NAB before I lock him in.

A bit more sold on R.Shaw as he went the LARS option and on 15/01/14 trained with the main group and participated in the practice match.

A tad concerned about Mitchie as Roos mentions his concern about his tank in one of the videos on the mfc website just before Christmas - but not sure what other choice Roos is going to have cattle-wise.

Jacobs was a real disappointment for those of us who selected him last year, but his price point this year is much easier to swallow and he's stated his own disappointment and reportedly started training using private training sessions away from the club immediately after the season ended - has shed some kg's and is reporting PB runs.

Mitchell could turn into Parker, it'll depend on how they go over the NAB.

None of the rookies are locked in really, like everyone else I'll be keeping close tabs on them over the next few weeks.

Backs ok , mids need another gun in there instead of Hannebery , not sold on the ruck setup , forwards no Danger , Martin and not to keen on Mitchell at No2 but still plenty of time to go and that is just my opinion cheers .

Thanks Shaker, my thought process behind not selecting Dangerfield or Martin in my starting forward line are:

Dangerfield
Due to his price tag, I'm hoping he drops a bit after the first part of the season, consider the following:
Adelaide's opening 3 rounds are:
Rd 1 Geelong - playing away Skilled Stadium where Adelaide haven't won since Rd 10, 2003, Dangers avg in the last 4 games vs Geelong is 87.7
Rd 2 Port - Port have split the last 6 Showdowns 3 wins each, Danger has averaged 98.7 in SC across these last 6 games
Rd 3 Sydney - Sydney have won 2 out of the last 3 outings against Adelaide (and only lost by 5 pts in the one they lost) - Dangers avg across these last 3 games has been 97.3

Martin
The possibility of Martin playing down back http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-01-17/jack-burns-the-track
If he doesn't line up down back over the NAB I may bring him back in

Cheers mabo looks like Danger is going to be captain this year with Van Berlo out doing his achilles reckon he will step up this year with the added responsibility just think having a player like him that can score big in the forwards is a must , can't see any benefit of Martin playing in the backs for the Tiges but I think he will score well where ever plays and if he has improved his attitude and fitness watch out he could do anything .

Interesting not starting these guys, will probably end up being in the top 2 or 3 forwards you would think. Danger is a must have but if you make him your first upgrade target and hope he drops there is some merit to that. Wouldn't worry about Martin maybe going down back, he has played a number of different roles already and you can be sure they will get the ball into his hands regardless
