No Sandi, Grundy, Mumford, Kreuzer, HMac. Too much risk.

Only solo rucks, for me it's out of NicNat, Goldy & Sam Jacobs. Yes I am considering him :P
Um wat?

Ziplock

I think his point is all the first rucks are rucks that are sharing the ruck load, while the last ones aren't really competing with anyone.

In which case mcevoy should be there too :P

Vinny

Yep that was my point, haha.

But yeah looks like it is NicNat and Goldy for me.

Big boy Will Minson is another who has nobody competing with him for a spot.

Should dominate once again next year big will

he is good, however i just dont want him again. I remeber watching a game see him play pretty average thought i was going to get a sub 80 score from him and got 150.

than again thats basically all rucks im not sure how Nic Nat averaged 110+

stew42

Haha sorry, didn't see the "solo ruck" bit  :-[

johnnytheboy1

That is why i think Minson will dominate again. Not So Sure about some of the Ruckman who have left there Clubs for Example Mumford & Mcevoy.
Leuey should score consistent 100+ Scores as he dosen't have much competition although Trent West has arrived.
Goldstein dosen't have any competition at North.

Peter

Great effort Whatlez to have Walker and Duffield and still get 69th. Just shows that those aspiring to your level can have a couple of stuff ups and still get there

Interesting Vinny, I'm almost thinking the opposite re: Sandi at least. HMac will get a strong look for me too depending on NAB cup and if he's up round 1. Lot's of competition though, and don't think I've quite got the balls to pick 2 300k rucks.

Sandi I really think should be a no brainer, with a caveat. In the 3 finals games he played he had a SC average of about 110 if I remember right. and he's $310k. He's had a couple of injury affected seasons where he hasn't managed many games, which is obviously a big concern, but he has a 4 year history of 110ish averages. With a round 10 bye he seems like a perfect call, if he can give me 8-9 games at 110 his price will skyrocket, and if he breaks down in those 8-9 games yes it might cost me a trade but he'll be a straight swap for a premo and will mean that I've got more money to spread in my starting team. I have NicNat and Sandi, picking Sandi gives me another 200-300k compared to other choices like Goldy, Minson, Cox. Understand the reservations, but I'm picking him and mentally allocating him a trade, definitely think it's a risk that's worth it.

I initially wanted to start with Goldy but have also recently considered that this might be the way to go. Goldy has the Rd.8 bye, so Sandi only has to play the first 8 games.

Vinny

Yeah I might be forced to go with Sandi although I really don't want too. But any injury doubt and I will find a way.

Going Lobbe and Sandy ATM and just want Sandy to score reasonably well until the Rd.10 bye. Nobody seems to think that Sandy won't break down or be Ross Lyon managed but what if he keeps going ?? would be a very cheap prem. My strategy ATM is to have 5 def keepers,  3 mid keepers,  1 ruck possible keeper out of Lobbe and Sandy, and 5 forward keepers. Working on the premise that I will fill my team much faster filling the midfield last. May lose some points early but if it works and I fill my team very early then maybe I not only catch up but may gain an advantage. This appears to be the safest risk that I can come up with that has a chance of working. Then of course I could be totally insane, the fact that I work at Flinders St Station could very much support this theory. Cheers and good luck to all.      :) :) :)
