I must admit I choked on my drink when the suggestion of Pavlich as being a better option ... surely he is fantasy irrelevant now? by all means pick him

At first pick I would of said Parker for sure but with the amount of guns running through the mids it does worry me a bit ... DPP is a big help ... i couldnt be on mitchell ... motlop is a star and christenson i couldnt have ahead of motlop

parker >just motlop > christensen > mitchell imo

How is Pavlich fantasy irrelevant??  :o a proven gun at a discount price

IMO ... too big and slow ... Right now I couldn't dream of picking him ... i would have to see him show some sense of agility for me to even consider him ... and I would definitely pick these 4 before pavlich
Let's not forget he was injured last year..
Averaged 111 and 105 the 2 seasons prior

Understand abotu his injuries ... but year older, cant see his body being as sturdy as those previous years ... cant see him playing 16 games this year

Pav is fantasy irellevant, all the good players will have him so no matter what he does it doesnt matter too much.

the same way i didnt care if goddard had a bad game as everyone i was competing with had him.

Im being facetious but you get my point.

If your not looking at him, good luck next year.

Good point holz but then again not getting could become a bonus if he doesn't regain his good form, particularly for the reason you said that almost all of the contenders will have him

i think he will be fairly common priced that cheap you have to put him ahead of guys like mitchell parker etc..

because he has a histroy of being a superstar.
plays for the best team in the comp
is the only legit forward target

i think he can average low 90s and for me that probably enough to pick him. he will be fighting for a spot in my squad with buddy.

Yeah he's almost locked in my side. At the moment I'm looking at starting Danger, Martin, Buddy, Pav. I think here's a lot of value in both buddy and Pav

After a good 2013 season is supercoach, apparently I may as well not bother in 2014 .. unless I see him showing some sort of pace and agility in the preseason I couldn't possibly pick him at the moment even with his reduced price .... for now i feel comfortable no having him in my team and to take on the other heavyweight supercoachers who have him locked in

What do u mean by the lack of pace and ability though eagles? Are you suggesting that he's lost that in the past 12 months or? Because it wasn't an issue any other year

that is exactly what I am suggesting .. an aging body, injuries could be entirely to blame though .. nevertheless I personally am not convinced ... in the past he has also had spells in the midfield which has allowed for his scoring to be of premo quality, wouldnt expect any midfield time and he isnt really the power marking forward type in my opinion .. buddy isnt a power marking forward type either but at least he as some athelticism

like i said at the moment he is not one ill be picking but obviously if he shows anything preseason that would have to change

Motlop. Motlop could bring his average up to the high 90s I think.
