Zac Dawson - Fremantle Dockers
Position: Defender
Fan Planner Price:$248,800
Bye: Round 10

2013 Average: 46.5
Tons: 0
2013 Games: 21

2012 Average: 49.6
Tons: 0
2012 Games: 16

#1 - the amount of times Zac Dawson has scored a SuperCoach ton. He scored 105 back in 2009 against Richmond, when he played for St.Kilda.

Verdict: One word, SPUD. Dawson is one of the worst SuperCoach players to ever play. He has only ever scored over 100 points once in his 119 game career. He has never got over 20 disposals in his career, so he will never be a good SuperCoach player. Ross Lyon loves the way Dawson plays, so his spot is locked into the side and if you're looking for a solid 45 every week, then Dawson is your man. But if you take SuperCoach seriously, then you shouldn't have even opened this thread as if you're even considering Dawson, you shouldn't even bother playing SuperCoach next year.

2014 Predicited Average: 40-45

I think the most important question: Why did you even bother wasting your time on this profile?  :P :o

Probably, I wouldn't pick him if he was −$248,800.
Actually I probably would  8)

He's going to be cheaper than the top-round draft picks.

Who would you rather? A player that is locked in his sides best 22, plays for a top team and has years of AFL and Finals experience OR some young kid who has no idea what they're doing, will often be sub, has no JS or experience and in all likelihood will be dropped, rested or injured at times during the season.

I didn't even harp on about the fact that Dawson averaged 49.5 in 2012 and thus is under-priced after averaging 46.5 in 2013.

I know who I would rather, do you?

This. Everyone should have Dawson in their side  ;)

Would it give everyone a false sense of security when they see Dawson in your Defense ?

If there are no good rookie options I might consider

Current team has no starting rookies in defense though :)

Noz

If all 230 defenders are out with long term injuries i may consider him.
