I'm in a little bit of a quandry and I'd like some feedback...

Currently I have three groups of 5 players that I'm really happy with but I can't choose between them and I was hoping for some help and logic.

#1

Ablett, Dal Santo, Pendlebury, J. Selwood, Jolly (with $22k left)

#2

Ablett, Dal Santo, Pendlebury, Gibbs, Sandilands (with $11k left)

#3

Ablett, Dal Santo, Pendlebury, Mitchell, Sandilands (with $3k left)

What are upsides/downsides for each of these combinations??

Group of 5s? Looks more like three groups of 2 :)

Selwood/Jolly v Gibbs/Sandi v Mitchell/Sandi

Mitchel/Sandi for me.

I think Sandilands is a must this year so pick no 2 or 3

Ossie, good point.  It's basically whether I go with Sandilands or Jolly and my fourth midfielder.  Tough choice as I don't think there's much in them.  The weekend's injuries at Hawthorn have swayed me a little away from Mitchell as I think he was going to be playing a sweeper role across HB and the midfield this year, but with Sewell going down and Burgoyne still not right, I think he'll be thrust solely into the midfield and get a hard tag most weeks early.  He might be a good trade target for when Sewell and Burgoyne are both back and playing as his price may have dropped.
