Had a great season despite missing so many games due to suspension.I think his price tag and the fact he`ll more than likely lose DPP and become a mid only means he would be a better upgrade target than a starter next season.

2014 Fan Planner Price $642,300

Stevie J must be the only man to be 30 years old while being born in July 1993 ;)

Nah seriously, great writeup again LF. Very very hard to ignore him next season. Would have had a Charlie if he wasn't such a showerbloke!

truBLUE

agree stevie j very hard to pass on ,,wondering if his price tag might throw a few off next season  ???  great piece LF   ;D

Thanks LE was in a rush as have to go pick the kids up from school lol

Adamant

Definitely won't be starting him as a pure mid. He averaged 118, but that was only from 16 games. If he had played even a few more games, he probably would have thrown in some more shockers, so I see him massively overpriced.

Upgrade target if he can maintain a 110+ average though.

Vinny

If he played more games he would have destroyed the brownlow, haha.

But I see where you are coming from mate.

By the same token though he could have thrown in a few more blinders! You wouldn't bet against him continuing to kill it in those games he missed!

pommyadam

fanplanner has him keeping DPP
if that's true, then there's no bigger lock

as a mid, purely an upgrade target for me

You might be onto something there Adam. Games he missed were Hawks (x2), North, Pies, Freo, Adelaide.

henry

If the positions are even a bit realistic stevie won't keep dpp, he barely even rested forward this year. Am considering him as a risky mid starter though and a POD if he's pure mid, will have a better look at the draw though before I make up my mind. Obviously if he somehow maintains forward eligibility he's a lock.

Capper

If only a mid and would guess at about $550k then i wouldnt be getting him at the start of the season.

But as an upgrade target?? Not sure would depend on how much he drops in value. He is also known for doing something stupid and getting suspended.

No for me, maybe if DPP but not to start with

fertalong

Not starting with him.
Like others have said, he is slightly overpriced. I'll wait for him to throw in a 60 point game and pounce 2 when he bottoms out.

Grazz

If he keeps DPP then im in like Flynn but if he loses it then I see him as an upgrade target that would coincide with a price drop hopefully.
